Marr Rugby Head Coach Craig Redpath has decided to step down at the end of the season after 14 extremely successful years with the club.
During his time with the club, Marr Rugby has climbed from West 1 to the pinnacle of Scottish club rugby, winning the Tennents Premiership.
Along the way the club won 2012 RBS West 1, 2013 RBS Shield, 2013 RBS West 1, 2014 RBS Championship A, 2017 BT National League 1, 2019 Tennents National League 1, and in 2022 Tennents Premiership.
As Director of Rugby, Craig was involved in all aspects of the club, from Minis through to the senior squads, and he leaves with each section being in an extremely healthy position.
Marr Rugby Club President Tony Peters said “On behalf of everyone at Marr Rugby, I’d like to thank Craig for all the hard work he has put in over the years, and the success he has helped bring to the club. When he arrived here 14 years ago, I myself along with many others, never dreamt that Marr Rugby would achieve the position in the Scottish game that we currently have. Craig saw potential in the club, and he was the driver in realising that potential.
Craig leaves the club with our best wishes, and I wish him good luck in whatever the future holds”
