Pre-Match Lunch (12.10.2024)
On 12.10.2024 Marr Rugby welcomes Ayr RFC for the first encounter of both clubs 1st XVs in a Premiership match at Fullarton since October 2017. That day, in front of a touchline crowd of around 1.200 supporters, the visitors took the honours with a win 6-19 in a match that saw Marr having to play almost 60 mins a man down, after having being reduced to 14 players early in the first half.

With the end of the Super 6 / Supper Series initiative this local derby is now re-introduced and undoubtedly the Hottest Ticket in Ayrshire rugby is available for Marr Rugby and Ayr RFC supporters.

Marr Rugby’s famous pre-match lunch, starting two and a half hours before kick-off enables the 16th player can get ready to deliver a big performance supporting the XV on the pitch.

With fine food provided by our star rated catering partner, Michael O’Neill at The Mobile Scullery and The Ghillie Dhu, fine wine and classic entertainment from our resident team - who are Marr’s equivalent of Butlin’s redcoats - this will be the perfect way to start your rugby Saturday.

Lunch is a two-courses followed by cheeseboard, table wine and free match entry for non-members.
