As we start to see signs of summer coming we can confirm that Marr Rugby have signed up to be a Tartan Touch for 2024. Tartan Touch is Scottish Rugby’s fun, inclusive, social and simple form of rugby to keep you fit across the summer. Running between May and July, Tartan Touch is designed to provide a simplified version of rugby with the aim of attracting players of all abilities, ages and levels of experience who are looking to improve their fitness through simple and social activity.
We are looking for players of all age groups and abilities to sign up to some of our summer sessions – our first session is on Friday 10 th May at Marr Rugby Club, running 6pm – 7:30pm. Adults, kids, men, women, grannies and grandpas are all welcome..the only condition is that under 12s must be accompanied by a parent. In addition to Friday sessions we are looking to run some on Sundays too..more details to follow. We will also look to run a few social evenings possibly once a month after the session finishes with the bar and bbq open etc.
